Eva was the charismatic and highly ambitious wife of Argentine president Juan Peron. Lot of two items includes: a color portrait of Evita affixed to a larger sheet, signed and inscribed in Spanish beneath the image and dated “2/5/1950” in blue ink by Eva Peron, and a DS, two pages, 8.5 x 13, August 16, 1944, on Department of War letterhead, in Spanish, boldly signed “Juan Peron” in blue ink on the second page. In overall very good condition, with a faint ink stain touching the beginning of Eva Peron’s inscription, toning, and a few small areas of trivial soiling, the DS has typical official notations and stamps, a few small areas of trivial soiling and small holes to left edges where removed from binder.
