Official Spalding National League baseball signed in ballpoint by 24 members of the 1951 New York Giants. Signers include: Willie Mays (1951 Rookie of the Year), Sal Maglie, Bobby Thomson (Shot Heard ‘Round The World), Al Dark, Monte Irvin, Henry Thompson, Monte Kennedy, Ed Stanky, Whitey Lockman, Earl Rapp, Alan Gettel, Herman Franks (SS), Don Mueller, Clint Hartung, Larry Jansen, S[heldon] Jones, Ray Noble, Dave Kolso, Wes Westrum, Davey Williams and George Spencer. Ball also bears a barely readable stamped signature of Leo Durocher on the sweet spot. In fine condition, with a light overall shade of toning, some signatures a shade or two light, but legible, and a small inscription added in another hand, to the right of the ball’s label and Ford Frick printed signature.
