Schweitzer was a noted organist and wrote many theological works. He won the 1952 Nobel Peace Prize. Fountain pen signature on a white 8.25 x 3.5 sheet. This may have been compliance with a request for an autograph. It is attached by staples to a larger sheet with a “Dr. Albert Schweitzer Lambarene Republique Gabonaise” stamp in the upper right corner and the phrase, written in his secretary’s hand, “With the best salutations of Dr. Albert Schweitzer.” Also in her hand, in the upper right corner, is the date 22 November 1963. In fine condition, with bit of fingerprint smudging near, but not touching the signature. R&R COA.
