ANS signed “Lyndon,” one page, 5.5 x 3.5, 1946. Johnson sends a picture postcard from San Francisco to Miss Mary Hartson (the first female mayor in Texas) of Kyle, Texas. In part: “Am thinking of and loving you. Keep the home fires glowing. If you need anything in Wash. write Mrs. Johnson.” The postmark on the card reads “Feb 21, 1946.” LBJ married Lady Bird Taylor in November 1934. In fine condition, with faint edge toning, a couple of small areas of trivial soiling. R&R COA.
