Lot of two signed items: vintage sepia matte-finish portrait of Ormandy, signed and inscribed “For Mr. William E. Smith in friendship, Eugene Ormandy, March 22, 1937;” vintage signature, “Dr. Otto Klemperer, March 12, 1939, Los Angeles” on a 4.5 x 1.5 slip. The slip is accompanied by an unsigned portrait of Klemperer. In overall very good condition, with two vertical creases through the signature, mild trivial soiling and toning to the borders, corner creases to the Ormandy portrait; toning to the bottom edge of the Klemperer slip.
