Italian conductor. During his lengthy career, Toscanini was the Musical Director of Las Scala in Milan, and conductor of the Metropolitan Opera in New York. Pre-printed 6.75 x 4.25 card with a message offering thanks for a contribution to the Philharmonic- Symphony Society Campaign Fund, signed at the conclusion in fountain pen, “Arturo Toscanini, New York, March 25, 1934.” There is a 1.75 x 2.75 photo of the conductor affixed to the left of the printed greeting. In fine condition, with adhesive residue on reverse from a previous mounting, a couple of small areas of trivial soiling affecting nothing. R&R COA.
