Frost conjures a topic for a lecture at the University of Pennsylvania: “Suppose I take for my subject What’s New In Poetry. I could make it Three or Four Realities. I leave it to you to choose”

Poet Laureate and American literary icon. ALS, two pages on adjoining sheets, 5.25 x 6.5, no date. Letter to Mr. Quinn regarding a lecture being given at the University of Pennsylvania. In full, “Suppose I take for my subject What’s New In Poetry. I could make it Three or Four Realities. I leave it to you to choose. I shall get into Philadelphia Friday morning in time for lunch and perhaps a little rest before performing. Shall I look you up at the University? Trust your cold has left you. Here’s looking forward.” At the conclusion, written in another hand is “Have wired him to wire you when he arrives at West Phila.” In fine condition, with expected folds, some light soiling and an office stamp indicating letter was received on February 9, 1920.
