Van Buren forwards several items of correspondence. “I send for your amusement a characteristic letter from my friend...also a letter from a lady in whom you have taken so interest in, as it is your nature to do. Wherever goodness of heart can be displayed, also a speech from my friend.” In fine condition, with expected folds and a small pencil notation to top edge. R&R COA.
