Senator Kennedy helps arrange Air Force participation in an Armistice Day parade

TLS, one page, 7.5 x 10, Congress Of The United States letterhead, September 26, 1949. Letter to the Chairman of the Armistice Day Parade Committee. In part, “Reference is again made to your desire to secure Air Force participation in the Armistice Day Parade of the American Legion…I understand that Continental Air Command at Mitchell Air Force Base…will contact you to make final arrangements.” Double matted and framed with a portrait of a young JFK, to an overall size of 24.5 x 17. In fine condition, with some light toning and three small torn out punch holes to left edge. COA John Reznikoff/PSA/DNA and R&R COA. Oversized.
