Signer of the Declaration of Independence from Pennsylvania, Ross was elected to the First and Second Continental Congresses, and became an untiring worker for the patriot cause. ALS signed “Geo. Ross,” one page, 7.5 x 7.5, September 9, 1759. Letter concerning a financial matter: "On my Return from my circuit I rec'd yours about Naggetswillers Money. I wrote to you about six weeks ago but I find it has never reach'd your hands. I shall be at the Supream [sic] Court & will bring the money with me.” In very good condition, with even overall toning, fold separation between first and last name of signature and several other fragile folds.
