TLS, signed “Bing Crosby,” one page, dated November 5, 1947 on his personal letterhead. Crosby writes to the President of the Variety Artists Guild on behalf of a friend. In part, “It is just my purpose to try and speak a good word for Mr. Trautman and try to help him secure some talent to entertain at the convention.” Also included is a two page signed document, signed on the second page by Hope, with a stamp date of March 3, 1947.
