Lot of six signed items from the 'Early Birds of America,' all of whom piloted a Wright Brothers plane. Centerpiece of this group is a vintage 5.5 x 3.5 postcard photo bearing small portrait of Orville and Wilbur Wright, entitled 'Pioneer's Latest Biplane, Belmont Park, 1910,' signed on the front in ink and ballpoint by aviation pioneers H. Roy Waite, Bernard L. Whelan, Henry Dora, George C. Whiting and W. Norman Brown, with all five adding their license number. Also included in the lot are: a 4 x 2.5 Early Birds of Aviation card signed in blue ballpoint by Waite, an undated one page ALS from Bernard Whelan, mentioning the 'Wright biplane in which I trained,' a glossy 5 x 3 glossy photo of Henry Dora standing in front of his Wright plane, signed on the reverse, with Dora adding his career highlights, a newspaper clipping of Vernon L. Burge standing in front of his Type B Wright flying machine, signed in blue ballpoint and a 5.25 x 3.5 of Harry M. Jones sitting in a Wright plane, signed in black ink by Jones.
