Orville and Foulois Signed Flight Cover

Orville Wright, co-inventor of the airplane and Brig. Gen. B. D. Foulois made the first cross-country flight together on July 30, 1908 at Fort Myers, VA. The postage stamp on this flight cover honors The International Civil Aeronautics Conference, December 12,13, 14, 1928, at which Wright and Foulois were guests of honor. Flight Cover, 6.5 x 3.75, signed 'Orville Wright' in black fountain pen and 'B.D. Foulois' in blue fountain pen in the upper left corner. Accompanied by newspaper photos of Wright and Foulois and a brief article regarding the conference. In fine condition. COA John Reznikoff/PSA/DNA and RRAuction COA.
