Notarized Release Agreement signed twice by Clark Gable, reads, in part, 'Whereas, on the 16th day of January, 1942, the mother and sister of First Parties (being the wife and mother-in-law of Clark Gable, one of Third Parties) were killed in an airplane accident; and whereas, the husband of Second Party was likewise killed in said accident; and whereas, it is the desire of the parties, each in reliance upon the covenant of the other to forever settle any claims between them, now therefore it is mutually understood and agreed, that each of the parties hereto does hereby release, remise, waive and extinguish any and all claims of any nature whatsoever which any of the parties hereto might possibly have against any of the others, either singly or collectively, from the beginning of the world to these presents.
