Fantastic vintage matte-finish 8 x 10 photo of Ruth clad in his Yankee pinstripes looking skyward as he takes a practice swing, beautifully and boldly signed and inscribed in fountain pen 'To my friend Abe Martin From Babe Ruth,' with the inscription done in a secretary's hand. In fine condition, with a few scattered light traces of silvering to edges. The serious collector would be very hard pressed to find another Babe photo in this condition.
