TLS signed 'George,' one page, 8.5 x 11, Congress of the United States letterhead, November 16, 1970. Bush thanks a campaign worker after losing the 1970 election. In part, 'It hurts to lose, but I have no regrets. We waged the best fight we knew how. Having friends like you working for me made it all worthwhile, in spite of the results.' Bush also adds a handwritten note at the conclusion, signed 'George.' In full, 'You are and always will be tops = I am and will always be grateful.' Matted and framed with a color portrait of Bush, to an overall size of 21.5 x 16. In fine condition. RRAuction COA.
