TLS, one page, 5.5 x 7, personal letterhead, May 23, 1961. Leigh writes to an admirer, with mention of her best-loved film Gone With the Wind. In part: 'I am delighted to learn that you have enjoyed my film performances so much and that 'Gone With the Wind' is so well received in Dallas. Eventually the plays presently in rehearsal will be presented in America by the Old Vic Theatre Company...Enclosed is the autographed picture of myself...which I do so hope you'll like.'
