Rickenbacker responds, in part: 'As for the last paragraph on my salary, there isn't enough salary in the world to make me do what I do, because it is not for the money but the results and accomplishments plus the necessity of proving that free enterprise and the American way of life are still the best, providing you are willing to work for them.' Bold, clean signature. In fine condition with a staple to the top border. Accompanied by the original onionskin copy of Johnson's letter. RRAuction COA.
