ADS, filled out and signed by Adams, signed on the reverse 'Adams,' one page both sides, 8.25 x 6.5, December 18, 1772. Legal document written by Adams concerning the case of Luke Lombard. In part, 'John Adams of Boston...require in a plea...that the said Luke...promised to pay him...four pounds, five shillings and eight pence...yet the said Luke tho requested has never paid either of the prev aforesaid...but neglected...to pay them.' Nicely signed on the reverse in black ink, 'Adams.' Over 100 words written in Adam's hand, with his full signature appearing in the document again, as well as his first name.
