Educator and poet who wrote America the Beautiful. Handwritten poem, one lined page, 8 x 6. At the top of the page, she writes the title 'To The Old Year,' signing underneath. She then pens two four line stanzas of the poem. In part, 'For we shall meet before, The Throne of God. The drifting snows confuse, thy footprints. Down the echoing wind I lose, thy voice. So be it.
