Letter may be referring to Hoover's translation of De Re Metallica, which was published in 1912 by the Mining Magazine of London. Double suede matted and framed with an oval portrait of Hoover and a small plaque, stating 'One of only three letters written in the hand of Herbert Hoover,' to an overall size of 14 x 27.5.
