Letter to American statesman Dean Acheson, in full (translated): "I should like to send you the enclosed copy of the first volume of my Memoirs now being published in the United States, I hope that this book, which deals with a decisive period of history of my country, will find your interest. We Germans will not forget that you were the first statesman who came to Germany for talks with the Federal Government. It is my sincere desire to take this opportunity to thank you for this and for your understanding and your help." In fine condition.
