ANS in pencil as president, signed by Herbert Hoover with his initials "H. H." at the bottom of a typed 5.25 x 8.5 letter from William Cheuere of Collier's magazine, dated November 18, 1932. Hoover's note, in regard to Cheuere's vague request: "Will you call him up and find what it is about?" A note in another hand explains, "I telephoned 11/22/32 wants to talk to HH—promised 'won't close the doors till all offers have chance to be heard.'" In fine condition.
