Partly-printed vellum DS as president, one page, 15.5 x 9.75, April 15, 1825. President Monroe grants John Allen of Monroe County, Indiana, a tract of land in Crawfordsville "containing Eighty Acres." Nicely signed at the conclusion by President Monroe and countersigned by Commissioner of the General Land Office George Graham. The crisp white paper seal affixed to the lower left remains fully intact. In very good to fine condition, with light wrinkling and soiling, and a few small stains.
