Vintage sepia matte-finish 11 x 13.75 photo, signed and inscribed in fountain pen “For Maj. General Johnson Hagood, Remembering his efficient work in A.E.F. 1930. John J. Pershing.” In fine condition, with end of his signature quite light from decreased ink flow. Johnson Hagood (1873–1948) was commissioned in the artillery, and served in France in World War I, where he created the Services of Supply. His decorations include the Distinguished Service Medal and Commander of the Légion d'honneur. Pre-certified PSA/DNA and RRAuction COA.
