#145 - John F. Kennedy and Lyndon B. Johnson Estimate: $200+

Collection of items from the estate of Chester V. Clifton, Jr., who served as a military aide to Presidents Kennedy and Johnson, including: a classic 'bill signer' Esterbrook dipping pen from Kennedy's administration, featuring a black plastic grip with a Lucite handle imprinted with "The President—The White House," in its original box; two pens—one unmarked Parker fountain pen and one Eversharp 'bill signer' felt tip pen, with Johnson's facsimile signature on the body—inside an original box with Johnson's signature, including a slip stating that one was "used by the President, March 3, 1966, in signing S. 9, An Act to provide readjustment assistance to veterans who serve in the Armed Forces during the induction period"; two McDonnell Aircraft lapel pins in the shape of the Mercury capsule; a red enameled White House pin, marked as no. "102"; a "Sen. Kennedy" badge; a small silver bear charm from Berlin, likely acquired during Kennedy's trip there; and a gold-tone 1961 Inaugural Ball souvenir medal in its original box.
