ALS, one page, 8.5 x 11, June 18, 1953. Addressed from Shady, New York, a handwritten letter to renowned piano company Steinway & Sons, in full: “I wish to extend to the Steinway family hearty congratulations on the century that their piano has so splendidly served. In honor of this event I have composed especially a Rondo for orchestra with piano.” In fine condition, with two file holes to the top edge.
