ALS signed “George P.,” three pages on two adjoining sheets, 4.5 x 7, Abergeldie Castle letterhead, September 3, 1905. Handwritten letter to Robert Mackintosh, in part: “Although I sent you a telegram yesterday on my arrival here, I must add a few lines of grateful thanks to you & Mrs. Mackintosh for all your kindness during my charming visit to Moy. I enjoyed the shooting immensely & if I may be allowed to say so I never saw a host take so much trouble to give his guests good sport as you did, nor have I ever seen grouse driving so beautifully done as it was at Moy.” In very good to fine condition, with irregular overall staining.
