Flown rocket booster fragment cut from an STS-51-D SRB, measuring 2″ x 1″ x .5″, affixed to a 4″ x 6″ Morton Thiokol presentation plaque: "This space artifact was cut from the nozzle of one of Morton Thiokol's reusable solid rocket booster motors that propelled Astronauts Karol Bobko, Don Williams, Rhea Seddon, Jeff Hoffman, Dave Griggs, and Payload Specialists Charles Walker and Jake Garn toward earth orbit aboard NASA's Space Shuttle Discovery on 12 April 1985. This award is presented to you on behalf of Lake Bonneville Council, Utah, for your dedication to the ideals and laws of Scouting." In fine condition, with a few surface scratches to the plaque.
