TLS as governor, one page, 8 x 10.5, State of New York, Executive Chamber letterhead, May 25, 1932. Letter to Henry Fisher of New York’s United Hospital Fund, in part: “I was gratified to receive the preliminary report of the Committee to review Medical and Hospital Problems in connection with Workman’s Compensation Insurance which, as you know, was transmitted to the Legislature of the State of New York in a special message under date of February 29, 1922. In view of the economic conditions which have limited your Committee in raising funds to complete the work, when the preliminary report was filed with me in Albany, I advised that I would greatly appreciate your serving for another year so that this study might be completed.” In fine condition, with staple holes above the letterhead. Provenance: The Everett Fisher Collection. Pre-certified PSA/DNA.
