Five items: four glossy 8 x 10 and 10 x 8 photos of the X-15 aircraft, two signed in black felt tip by Crossfield and two in green ink by White. Also includes a TLS signed “Robert M. White,” one page, Air Force Flight Test Center letterhead, dated July 11, 1962, in part: “In the final analysis the success of the USAF efforts in space will depend not so much on what we do, but on the support which the American people give our work.” The photo featuring the X-15 below a B-52 is an official NASA photo. In overall fine condition, with trivial surface impressions to photos, and slight toning and a tear to right edge of the letter. From the Leon Ford Collection.
