Dreisewerd to Boston in consideration of a payment of $10,000. Signed at the conclusion by Cronin, as vice president of the Boston club. In fine condition, with expected document wear. Dreisewerd had pitched for the Red Sox from 1944 to 1946, compiling a 6-6 record; he did appear in the 1946 World Series, recording an out against Enos Slaughter in game four.
