American major general (1883–1953) who defended Bataan and Corregidor and who survived a stint as a prisoner of war from 1942–45. Vintage matte-finish 8 x 10 photo of Wainwright in full dress uniform, signed and inscribed in fountain pen “To John C. Trevor, Sincerely, J. M.
