In part: “The University of Vermont has already conferred upon me a degree so that I would not care to accept another…I think it would be most fitting to give one to Mrs. Coolidge and she would be pleased to accept but the Commencement day is June 17th and she has agreed to be at Smith College that day.” In fine condition, with intersecting folds, one through a single letter of signature.
