We just strafed the jungle from a large white directional arrow the marines had placed on the beach. Thousands of white birds, probably cockatoos, erupted from the jungle as we made several strafing runs ’til our ammo was expended. The Marines reported no more trouble from the mortars and that we took out 105 enemy and the Marines expanded the perimeter....” In very fine condition. RRAuction COA.
