Goodwin of Massachusetts, to the position of “Consul of the United States of America at Annaberg, Kingdom of Saxony.” Signed at the conclusion by Cleveland, and countersigned by Secretary of State T. F. Bayard. In very good condition, with scattered light toning, intersecting folds, a bit heavier around edges, repaired tear to top edge, small tear to right edge, tape remnants to both sides, and previous mounting remnants to reverse.
