Letter to Helen Reid [owner of the New York Herald Tribune], thanking Mrs. Reid for sending him a recent cartoon by Jay Darling titled, “Our Memories Are So Short.” In part: “I have known Mr. Darling for years and admire the splendid work he has done. A few of his original cartoons hang in my office, where I shall place this latest one that you have kindly presented to me.” In fine condition, with a bit of light edge toning.
