A decree reading, in part (translated): “The ruling council made a decision on 21 May 1980. Decided that Point 2 of the decision with No. 1242 will be replaced by the following decision. The employees’ extra compensation is not to exceed 140% of the normal wages. Max. compensation is not to exceed 380 dinars per month except groups within the farming sector which are named in D4 in this decision. This group’s compensation is not to exceed 250% of normal salary. This decision is due to be in force when this is published in the official newspaper….” A hint of subtle toning to edges and a few tiny chips and tears to blank margins, otherwise fine condition.
