Hand-addressed and free franked envelope panel, approximately 5 x 3, addressed in Adams’s hand to “Samuel Humphrey, Esq., Weymouth, Mass,” and franked in the top right corner, J. Q. Adams.” Double matted with a color seated portrait of Adams, to an overall size of 13 x 9.5. In fine condition, with some scattered light edge creases, a couple slightly affecting signature and a touch of light soiling. All writing and frank signature are strong and bold.
