Unsigned TLS as president, one page, 6.75 x 9, White House letterhead, October 11, 1961. Letter to a member of the New York Post, commenting on the value of his signature, with Kennedy coyly not signing the letter. In full, “I appreciate your letter about the market on the Kennedy signatures. It is hard to believe that the going price is so high now. In order not to depress the market any further I will not sign this letter.” Accompanied by the original mailing envelope. In fine condition, with a bisecting horizontal fold. R&R COA.
