(Walt Disney Studios, 1938) Original production cel featuring Ferdinand and the matador from Ferdinand the Bull, showing the titular bull gleefully smelling a bouquet of flowers as the frustrated matador stands over him. The cels have been trimmed and applied to a plain background. The Ferdinand image measures 5.75 x 5.5 and the matador image measures 2.75 x 5.25, with a mat opening of 10 x 7.75. Framed to an overall size of 13.5 x 11.75. In fine condition, with some minor lifting to paint. This classic early Disney cartoon won the 1938 Academy Award for Best Short Subject (Cartoons); interestingly the matador was a caricature of Walt Disney himself.
