Description

TLS in French, one page, 5.25 x 8.25, Librairie Gallimard letterhead, May 7, 1953. Letter to Irma Antonetto, founder and director of the Associazione Culturale Italiana, concerning his upcoming plans. In full: "I thank you for your letter and I am very grateful for the feelings that you are kind enough to express. Your proposition is still very tempting but my projects for the next season are still not very clear and I cannot give you an answer right now. In October the outlook will be much clearer and if you want to write me again at that point I think there’s a good chance that our common aim may become concrete." In fine condition, with two file holes to the left edge. A desirable letter by the important French writer-philosopher.
