Three items signed in black ink by James Michener: a glossy 10 x 8 photo of Michener standing next to his editor John Kings; an 8.5 x 8 Beber Silverstein & Partners press caption sheet (affixed to the reverse of the aforesaid photo) promoting the board game Bestsell’r: The James A. Michener Game; and a TLS, one page, 8.5 x 11, University of Texas (Austin) letterhead, July 15, 1986, which finds Michener answering three questions about his works being made into films, in part: “I like three of my films very much indeed. Superlative, really…I’ve had several films that were not first class, and I’m sorry about that, but the average is high.” In overall fine condition.
