Description

AQS on an off-white 5.5 x 3.5 card, signed and inscribed in fountain pen by Jeffers, "Inscribed for William David Hennessy, Jr., Sincerely, Robinson Jeffers, Tor House, Carmel, California—July 1934." Jeffers quotes a verse from his poem 'Boats in a Fog,' in full: "All the arts lose virtue / Against the essential reality / Of creatures going about their business among the equally / Earnest elements of nature. (Roan Stallion - Page 88)." In very fine condition.
