Handsome official United States opening ceremony parade jacket from the 1948 London Summer Olympics, featuring an American Olympic team crest on the left breast with similarly designed color emblems on each button. The inner tag reads, “John Wanamaker, Tailored by MacGregor,” and notes a size “42.” This fine example was owned by Henry R. Goode, a member of the US field hockey team.
