International Tennis Hall of Famer (1901–1987) who was one of the famous ‘Four Musketeers’ of France who dominated tennis in the 1920s and 30s. ALS signed “Cochet,” one page, 5.25 x 6.75, personal letterhead, March 12, 1984. Letter to an admirer. In part: “I could not agree with you more when you say that you have never lost your faith in God.” In very good condition, with central vertical and horizontal folds and show-through from toned adhesive remnants to reverse.
