British actor (1858–1933), best known as old Baron Frankenstein in the 1931 classic Frankenstein. AQS, signed “Frederick Kerr,” on an off-white 7.5 x 9.25 album page. In full: “5 March 97, Why do I keep on acting like a fool? Slingsby in ‘The Dancing Girl.’” Page also bears another two signatures and a quote from two others. In fine condition, with a bit of mild edge toning. Kerr is scarce in any format. Frankenstein received universal acclaim and was considered one of the best films in 1931, and remains a corner stone of classic Hollywood horror films. Pre-certified PSA/DNA and RRAuction COA.
