Emmons to the position of Midshipman in the Navy, signed at the bottom in black ink by Jackson, and countersigned by Secretary of the Navy John Branch. In good condition, with Jackson’s signature light but legible, overall foxing and soiling, mounting remnants on reverse, several vertical folds and creases and trimmed edges.
