Description

Color 14.75 x 4 magazine photo of the Admiral Graf, signed in ink and felt tip by Five officers who served on board, including: Kurt Diggins (Adj. to Captain Langsdorf), Herbert Frohlich (Radar operation), Jurgen Wattenberg (Navigation) and F. W. Rasenack (Artillery Tech). Matted to an overall size of 19 x 8. In fine condition, with three vertical folds and some light contrast to a couple of signatures. The Admiral Graf Spee was launched in 1934 and named after the World War I Admiral Graf Maximilian von Spee who died, along with two of his sons, in the first Battle of the Falkland Islands. The ship saw action at the beginning of World War II and was sunk at the Battle of the River Plate. R&R COA.
