Rare issue of The North-American Calendar, and Rhode-Island Register, For the Year of Our Lord, 1782. 40 pages, 4 x 6.5, printed by Bennett Wheeler, containing a full printing of the Articles of Confederation, the fundamental document of American governance from its ratification in 1781 through the rest of the Revolution until it was eventually replaced by the Constitution in 1789. The booklet is interspersed with detailed calendar months and the opening three pages list the four “Eclipses for the Year 1782.” Two pages bear an ownership notation of “Ezekiel Angell.” In good to very good condition, with overall staining, edgewear, and creased corners.
